Reconciliation Month Temporary Exhibition

This year the Reconciliation Month theme is: The Year of Indigenous Languages: Supporting Reconciliation through the Promotion, Development and Preservation of Indigenous Languages.

The Museum will be having a Reconciliation Month Temporary Exhibition.
Theme: “Indigenous languages: Jan F.E. Celliers, an Afrikaans poet and Sol T. Plaatje, a Setswana linguist associated with the Anglo-Boer (South African) War”.

From 2 December 2019 – 31 January 2020.

Exhibitions include books and objects from the collections of the War Museum and the Free State Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation affiliates: National Afrikaans Literary Museum and Research Centre and the Queen’s Fort Military Museum.
