Women’s Day Market at the War Museum and National Women’s Memorial. The Hospice Shop @ the Museum is hosting a market with lots of handmade goodies and eats and treats. There will also be a Tea Garden as well as handcraft activities for the children such as French knitting and making a felt bookmark. The museum will present lectures and open an exhibition about the spinning and weaving schools established by Emily Hobhouse. Various handcrafts such as spinning, weaving, knitting, lace making and felting will also be demonstrated.
