16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children.

16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children.
25 November to 10 December 2019.

What is the 16 days activism?
It is a worldwide campaign to oppose violence against women and children and it aims to raise awareness of the negative impact that violence and abuse have on women and children.

The Museum will be starting the 16 days of activism with an event open to all who would like to attend. The morning starts with a Puppet Show by Childline SA BFN. Various guest speakers from different social foundations will give presentations on Rape and its effects on women and children in South Africa. There will also be a variety of musical and poetry performances.

If you would like to attend the event, please RSVP by 21 November with Vicky Heunis (vicky@anglo-boer.co.za).

For Event enquiries, please contact Martha Thulo (martha@anglo-boer.co.za ) / 051 447 3447

If possible, please bring a donation of instant foods, nappies, soft toys, sanitary pads or new child or adult underwear. All items will be donated to the Tshepong Thuthuzela Care Centre in Bloemfontein, who works with the victims of rape and abuse in the Bloemfontein District.
