New Perspectives on the Anglo-Boer War / Nuwe perspektiewe op die Anglo-Boereoorlog

After more than a century the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902) continues to exert a strong fascination on academics, researchers, readers, writers of fiction and historians in many parts of the world. Consisting of eight essays by academics in South Africa and the U.K. this bilingual collection of essays is evidence of the ongoing interest in a war which to-date remains by far the most prominent being the wartime use of tactics and strategy. Compiled by the War Museum this volume makes a substantial contribution and is a welcome addition to the scholarly and academic literature of the Anglo-Boer War.
